I proudly present the one and only juggling fire hat in the world!
The kevlar rope is separated from the felt hat by a layer of thick heat-resistant silicone, which is the first step in protection.
How to apply:
First of all, you have to apply the lamp oil by syringe very carefully. She needs to get on the kevlar only, not the silicone, nor the felt. Use lamp oil to have low temperature while burning. It may still be an hour before the show, because the oil doesn't evaporate. 5 minutes before lighting up, you need to apply water into the felt by a hand pump, which we offer. It must be put on the felt on the top and on the side of the cylinder. There should be no drips on the kevlar, otherwise you may have some ignition issues.
Finally before 1 minute to go on stage, you must apply zippo benzene. It helps to illuminate the kerosene. Without it you cannot light well, the oil in the lamp becomes fire very slowly. I hope I don't need to say that effect, it is only suitable for kevlar, not on silicone or felt, not a drop. It shouldn't be too much or too little. If it's too small it evaporates and you can't light the oil lamp, if it's too strong it burns the felt and silicone.
The fire hat can last about 50-100 ignitions or more. It is very careful preparation and the right materials!
Whether you need an extreme costume or part of a joke at your show, this is the great choice.
However, if you have a hat act, this would be the best finale ever!
It weighs about 350g.
- Do meticulous preparation (use head lamp behind the scenes)
- If the top of the hat gets a hill, push down, than it's farther from the fire.
- If the hat fall off, take it immediately!
- Never keep the hat down when it's on fire.
