The Dragonstaff 10 is the most convenient 2-in-1 stick! In fact, it's two accessories in one: A one-piece fire contact staff (or a collapsible contact staff) with a dragon adapter.
Are you a traveler? Then the foldable version is the most practical tool for you. When the stick and adapter are disassembled, all parts fit in a small bag suitable for checked baggage. At the same time, you get a professional, strong and solid, perfectly balanced contact stick and 10-head dragon stick.
You can select the following settings:
Length: Choose the length of your Dragonstaff so that the distance between the two point crossings is at least 120 cm. For a Dragonstaff 10 this means we recommend a staff at least 150cm long, in which case you should attach the picket cross right next to the main firehead. The standard option, which we think is suitable for most players, is 166cm.
7075 aluminum is the standard and recommended option. The body of the stick is made from a "Space Tech" 7075 aluminum alloy, which has the same strength as steel, but is light and flexible like aluminum, so it won't break or never bend. Watch the Fire Contact Staff test video 😊.
You can also order the staff with a carbon fiber tube (22 X 1.5 mm): This will make it super light, but note that when used as a 10 headed Dragon, the extra weights at the end will make the Dragonstaff 10 a little wonky. If you are an expert who plays very softly this might not be the case, but for most gamers the standard 7075 aluminum is the best option.
The dragon spikes can be removed with both options. If you choose the foldable option, that means you can disassemble the main stick as well!
The foldable version is 100% straight and does not move or wobble. It is fixed by rubber gaskets, so the flexible connection supports the force and does not loosen after a while.
Recommendation for assembling the collapsible cane: Slide the connector into the tube, hold both parts of the cane with both hands and twist inwards (clockwise) 2-3 times until secure - but not too much (this could damage the rubber seal).
If the sight does not seem secure after a few turns, disassemble and clean the rubber gasket to have a good grip surface. Then try again.
Recommendation for folding cane disassembly: Rotate outward (counterclockwise) 2-3 times until the stick slides out easily. If you do too many turns, it strips the rubber seal from the connector, and it may look "lost". In this case, use a long, thin stick to remove it and screw it back to its original location.
The handling surface is coated with our 3.2 mm thick SuperGrip©. It is made up of a spongy bottom layer and a sticky, dotted top layer that won't slip when wet. Over the years we've tested many versions and this one has by far the best hold, even when you're sweating. It is also suitable for contact staff players with sensitive skin or allergies. The midpoint of the weight is clearly marked.
